Camp5

Music out of the box 2

April, 2009
Attendance: 32 musicians and singers
Facilitator: John Bowers with his musical band

We went deeper in sharing and learning how to engage with our communities and socities using our music. How to bless our nations. It’s kind of building up on the previous camp of last year. Almost half of the attendees weren’t from the same group that attended last years camp, so it was a great opportunity to built foundations into the lives of a new group of musicians.

Camp4
Music out of the box

13th till the 15th of March, 2008
Attendance: 48 musicians and singers
Facilitator: John Bowers with his musical band

We shared and learnt how to engage with our communities and socities using our music. How to bless our nations with our words on a musical platform. We live in a very musical culture in this part of the world. It’s the common interest between between most of our people. We talked of how kingdom driven our songs could be. Music is a corner stone in any culture and how does this relate to it as a gift from God to proclaim his name.

The attendees were so encoruaged and motivated for the benefit of our socities.

Camp3
Vineyard Aflam

15th till the 17th of November, 2007
Attendance: 10-15 artists approximate
Facilitator: James Tughan (Canada), Jennifer Goss (Spain),

It was an amazing divine time. We enjoyed the time unvealing our gifts infront of their creator.
Discovering our visual languages; as each one of us is an artist in Christ that has a unique language to communicate any message using his/her talent through the work of the Holy Spirit.

Had a look on the artistic languages presented in our communities and societies. Discovering ways of how to build good bridges to our communities through reading those different languages.

Thank God! A monthly meeting would be regularly held for visual artists as an outcome of this weekend.

11th till 14th of November, 2004
Place: Hawamdeyah center, Giza, Egypt
Attendance: 35-45 artists approximate
Facilitators: Jennifer Goss (South Africa), Glenn Goss (South Africa)

This camp was held for a limited number of artists upon personal invitation. God, in His mighty goodness, had surprised us with showers of blessings to each one of us, whether the participants or the Arts for Christ team.

Jennifer was leading the creative workshops about where are you on your journey, who are you in Christ, how to minister to the body and exploring Christian art outreaches globally.

Glenn was talking about “emotions” and the “artists Heart”. He was exposing different concepts that face the heart of the Christian artist such as servant hood versus stardom, excellence versus perfectionism, jealousy and envy.

Worship times had a great part in the camp, were we all put our arts in the Creator’s hands and humbled ourselves in his presence. God’s glory was touching each one in a unique individual way leading to inner healing, new life perspective and a deeper relationship with Him.
